- SLB, formerly known as Schlumberger, has subsidiary operations in Morgan City, New Iberia, Berwick and Broussard. It is one of the top employers in Lafayette Parish, where it announced in 2022 it will invest $11.5 million to centralize its North Gulf Coast divisions in a centralized hub.
