Governor Landry Leads Louisiana Delegation to International Paris Air Show

BATON ROUGE, La.— This week, Governor Jeff Landry and Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois are leading a Louisiana delegation to the International Paris Air Show, the world’s largest aerospace and aviation event, to strengthen economic ties, attract new investment and showcase the state’s growing role in global industries. While this is the Governor’s first visit to the Air Show in this role, Louisiana has had a presence at the event for nearly two decades.

This mission directly aligns with LED’s new strategic plan which prioritizes global impact, growth in aerospace and defense and high-wage job creation. By engaging face-to-face with French companies and highlighting Louisiana’s $62 billion wave of new investment, the delegation is putting the plan into action: forging partnerships, advancing target sectors and demonstrating that Louisiana is open for business.
