Champion Home Builders Announces Job Fair For Leesville Facility

LEESVILLE, La. — Champion Home Builders, supported by LED FastStart®, will conduct a job fair on Thursday, April 4, to identify potential employees for salaried/hourly positions at its new manufacturing facility in Leesville, Louisiana. The job fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church assembly hall located at 1204 S. Fifth St. in Leesville.

“We’re excited to begin the recruitment process for various positions,” Champion Home Builders General Manager Thomas Stoneburner said. “Construction on our new manufacturing facility is going quickly, so we’re looking to fill our salaried and hourly positions soon.”

The company is seeking candidates for the following positions: quality manager, supervisor, maintenance, QA inspectors, service manager, service clerks, transportation clerk, accounts payable clerk, receptionists/clerical, cost accountant, forklift operators, welders, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, HVAC, roofing, framing, drywall installation, shipping clerks, parts/warehouse workers, sales secretary and janitors/utility cleanup.

Champion announced in October 2017 it would invest $1.3 million to develop a manufactured housing production facility at Leesville’s Northside Industrial Park. The company hopes to fill 60 positions in time for the facility start-up planned for June 1, 2019. Champion expect to hire 200 employees for the Leesville project by December 2020.
