CEO Roundtables Registration Deadline Approaches

BATON ROUGE, La. — Saturday is the final day to register for LED’s nationally recognized CEO Roundtables program. To apply, visit

Participants in the program lead growing firms, known as second-stage companies, with $600,000 to $50 million in annual revenue and five to 99 employees. In a recent Spotlight Louisiana program honoring graduates of CEO Roundtables and other programs in the LED Growth Network, the leader of the Michigan-based Edward Lowe Foundation recognized Louisiana as a national model for small business growth.

“LED programs have continuity,” said foundation President Dan Wyant. “When it comes to helping second-stage companies, Louisiana doesn’t just talk about it, they dedicate serious resources to making that happen. Louisiana has become a national model for how to create a successful entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

For 2018-2019 sessions beginning in July, CEO Roundtables will convene about 15 business leaders for each roundtable from the pool of statewide applicants. The business leaders will meet 10 times within a year for peer-to-peer learning, business networking and resources that will help them grow their businesses while enhancing their personal growth. The meetings feature a professional facilitator and provide a collaborative environment for executives to explore solutions that spur better business performance and management results.

Depending on demand, LED hopes to continue the CEO Roundtables program in Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, Schriever and Shreveport, while expanding to new markets, such as Lake Charles and the Monroe/Ruston area.
