Does my company qualify for FastStart?
LED FastStart is a discretionary incentive awarded to committed projects and are presented to the Secretary for consideration by the Business Development team. Each request is evaluated prior to project commencement to ensure all eligibility requirements are met. To be considered, a company must commit to creating a net of at least 15 new, permanent manufacturing jobs, or a net of at least 50 new, permanent service-related jobs. The type of industry and investment from the company are reviewed as well.
How long does FastStart take?
The scope of the work is agreed upon in advance of work commencing but the duration of the incentive is dependent on the needs assessed and in relation to when the hiring commitments are reached.
How much does FastStart cost?
LED FastStart® is a free service provided to qualifying companies operating in Louisiana.
