General Informatics Announces Career Fair, Open House In Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. — General Informatics, a leading technology provider for businesses, governments and schools, will conduct an Open House and Career Fair on Friday, July 19, at the company’s @Highland headquarters. The event will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. July 19 at the company’s state-of-the-art office complex, located at 1 Smart Way on the northwest corner of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Highland Road.

General Informatics seeks new and experienced IT professionals who have a passion for technology and want to pursue their dream job without leaving Louisiana. The Baton Rouge-based technology firm and innovation leader employs more than 60 engineers, programmers and designers, and is looking for exceptional talent to join the General Informatics team.

General Informatics seeks both new and experienced IT professionals to fill positions that include the following roles: entry-level IT support specialists; network engineers; and software developers. Attendees are asked to dress professionally and to bring copies of their résumés to the July 19 event.

Named the 2018 Company of the Year by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, General Informatics announced a $20 million capital investment in 2016 for @Highland, with plans to create 66 new direct jobs over the next decade. LED estimates the latest General Informatics project will result in a total of nearly 150 new jobs in the Capital Region.
