Syrah Technologies To Conduct Job Fair For Concordia Parish Site

VIDALIA, La. — Syrah Technologies, supported by LED FastStart® and the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will conduct a job fair on Thursday, Oct. 11 to identify potential employees for work at its new battery anode material processing facility in Vidalia. The job fair will take place at the Ferriday campus of Central Louisiana Technical Community College, located at 2100 E.E. Wallace Boulevard in Ferriday.

Interested applicants should go to the Multi-Purpose Room on the CLTCC Ferriday campus, with the job fair taking place from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 11.

Syrah Technologies seeks candidates now for the following positions: process operators; rotating equipment mechanics; and I&E technicians. Qualified candidates will have relevant industry experience and technical training.

Successful candidates must pass a drug screening test, possess a valid picture ID, and be able to read, write and understand the English language. Qualified individuals are encouraged to attend, and may also apply online before or after the job fair.
