Alorica Announces Shreveport Event For Filling 500 Customer Service Jobs

SHREVEPORT, La. — Today, Alorica, the largest provider of customer experience solutions in the U.S. and third-largest in the world, announced it will host an event in Shreveport to hire employees for up to 500 part-time, work-at-home positions. The company is working with the City of Shreveport and the North Louisiana Economic Partnership to conduct a “meet and greet” event in which applicants may ask questions of company officials and be interviewed for the open positions. The event will be Thursday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Building E at the Shreveport campus of Northwest Louisiana Technical College, located at 2010 N. Market St.

Applicants are asked to bring two forms of identification to the event. While there, job seekers will meet with Alorica team members in small groups to learn about the company, its culture and career opportunities. In this setting, company leaders will ask candidates questions to better understand their working styles and to determine if candidates are a good fit for the Alorica team.

Alorica’s new operations in Northwest Louisiana and the Thursday event were announced in Shreveport on Wednesday at the offices of the North Louisiana Economic Partnership. Ken Muché, director of global public relations for Alorica, shared the company’s story and strategic approach with the audience, and Shreveport Mayor Ollie Tyler welcomed the company to the region.
